What Cars Are Suitable for College?

Sometimes students with cars can have some problems with their vehicles because, in most cases, parents choose the car for them. But they consider their own preferences and don’t always make the right choice. It’s natural and obvious that any parent wants their child to be safe, that’s why they choose a big car. But the thing is small vehicles can also be very reliable and wouldn’t cause such problems as not being able to find a parking space.

When you are in college, you also don’t need a big family car. Yeah, of course, when you and your friends are organizing parties, a car with a lot of space will be useful, but in most cases, you will just put your shopping on your back seat without even opening the truck. Other parents remember their dream of having a fast sports car and buy it for their students.

Of course, it usually looks fantastic and is very fast, but it consumes so much fuel that you will spend all the money from a part-time job on it. So, when choosing a car for a student, first of all, it’s better to ask the student whether they have some preferences.

For example, when it’s about writing services, a lot of students seem to like essaypro service. And for sure, the situation is the same with coffeehouses; favorite snacks and cars are no exception. Here is the list of the cars that we consider to be suitable for students thanks to the perfect combination of dimensions and technical characteristics.

Mazda 3

Both sedan and hatchback are available for Mazda 3. The most fuel-efficient Mazda 3 is the sedan with the base 2.5-liter four-cylinder; its EPA rating is 28 mpg city and 37 mpg highway. The car was designed with premium materials and had a lot of accessories for owners’ comfort, like a head-up display and heated front seats. Every model also has automated emergency braking and automatic high-beam headlights.

Ford Focus

You can try to find some cons in this car, but there is not much to dislike about it. Focus is both stylish and comfortable, and it’s not only practical, but it’s also really exciting to drive it. The car is perfect for cities as it is very light and maneuverable when it’s necessary for heavy traffic.

The Ford Focus is rather spacious for passengers, particularly those in the back, but the truck could be bigger. But as you can guess, they thought not only about the comfort of the passengers but from the driver’s seat; the Ford Focus is also feeling pretty spacious, even for taller drivers.

Volkswagen Golf GTI

Well, if you want a car that is a well-known combination of modern design and traditional quality and is considered to be an icon among the other brands of the same class, then you should definitely choose Golf GTI. Well, of course, it’s not like a Tesla with one huge screen inside, but you can find two rather big displays on the dashboard and some touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel for those who like modern technology.

The car grew up a bit, but not considerably, just a couple of inches both in height and length. However, the passengers got additional space for their comfort. And if you are an ordinary student that cares about money, the most rational option for you to choose would be the Golf GTI with the automatic transmission due to its rather moderate consumption of fuel.

Citroen C3

If you care about the visuals and if you want a car that is not only reliable but also beautiful, the choice is obvious to you. Citroën C3 looks futuristic but not too extravagant and has its unique style that distinguishes the car from the row of its competitors of the same class. But don’t judge the book by its cover! The car is not only beautiful, it’s also very comfortable. And we are not talking only about comfortable seats.

C3 is spacious, both the cabin and the truck. Many drivers say that now everything has changed and in most cases the computer drives instead of you, and partly it’s true, But if you don’t mind a dozen auxiliary systems that make the process of driving easier, then buy a Citroen C3.

KIA Sportage

This car is becoming more and more popular, and if you want to have a little “alien” in your garage, then you should definitely consider Sportage as an option. The design is excellent, and it catches attention with its modern and sharp lines. Another plus is that the car is bigger compared to its predecessor.

The designers managed to find a good balance between big trucks and required comfortable space for passengers. And from a technical point of view, Koreans managed to pack the car with exciting updates, so you don’t have to worry that if you fell for its looks, you would suffer in the future because it’s not powerful enough.
