Mini have announced updates to in-car tech for summer 2017.

All Mini models will come with an enhanced cockpit instrument on the steering column. There’s also a new night time look with numbers and letters appearing in white rather than orange.

The new fuel level display with the cockpit instrument features will show more precise readings.

Switching between the Mini driving modes will be different by Sport mode or Green mode operated by a toggle switch which is situated underneath the air conditioning controls.

The Mini Countryman and Mini Clubman with Media Pack XL or MINI Tech Pack will come with Apple CarPlay preparation.

Alertness assistant will come with the Mini Hatch and Mini Convertible. The system continuously analyses how the car is driven and can calculate if the driver is losing concentration and recommends a break with a graphic on the central display screen.
