Lamborghini have revealed the most hardcore (and maybe final) Gallardo yet. Based on the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo race car, the Squadra Corse (a type of bull) will cost around £160k + VAT. But it aims to be a road legal race car.
It features the same race spec V10 found in the Super Trofeo’s, the same GT3 race spec rear wing (which makes 3 times more downforce than the LP 560-4). A quick release engine cover is also taken directly from the Super Trofeo cup cars.
That V10 engine produces 570HP at 8,000 RPM, and is coupled with a six speed e-gear ‘box linked to paddle mounted controls. All that power is fed – naturally to the road via all wheel drive.
The whole car only weighs in at 1340KG, due to being made of Aluminium and Carbon Fibre. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.4 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in just 10.4 seconds. Its finally tops out at 320 km/h. Production-standard carbon-ceramic brakes guarantees unmatched stopping power.
Its interior is sparse with Alcantara and Carbon Fibre used throughout, to give a racing feel to this already raw bull.
