Vauxhall Insignia GSi to start from £33,375

Vauxhall have announced prices for the all-new Insignia GSi. 

The Insignia GSi is the fastest Vauxhall around the Nurburgring, where it was developed

It will be available as Grand Sport and Sports Tourer. Compared to the outgoing VXR model, it’s 160kg lighter.

They will be a choice of a 2.0-litre 260PS petrol engine or a 2.0-litre 210PS BiTurbo diesel engine. Both will use an eight-speed automatic gearbox with shift-paddles.

Grand Sport of the Insignia GSi can do 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds and has a top speed of 155mph. 

The Grand Sport is available from £33,375 and the Sports Tourer available from £34,875. 

GSi comes with all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, Brembo four-cylinder brakes, mechatronic FlexRide chassis and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres with 20” alloys. 

Four driving modes are available with the GSi’s FlexRide system. This allows the damping, steering, gear change-up points, stability and traction systems to be changed to suit driver’s needs.

Exterior features chrome air intakes, front and rear GSi bumpers, large GSi rear spoiler and IntelliLux LED matrix headlamps.

Inside of the Insignia GSi has full leather front sports seats, 8” information display with navigation, Bose sound system, head-up display and aluminium pedals.

The Vauxhall Insignia GSi is due in showrooms in March 2018.
