Skoda has announced new features for safety and infotainment systems for the Superb from the end of May 2017.

The Superb Saloon and Estate will come with Care Connect as standard from Ambition trim upwards.

Care Connect comes with automatic emergency call which is activated after an accident.

The Superb will also come with Park Distance Control system with Manoeuvre Assist.

Remote access is now possible with the Skoda Connect App and is able to tell the driver if the lights are off, location of the vehicle and also enable “Honk & Flash” function for the times when you can’t remember where you park your car.

The Columbus navigation system is now presented on a 9.2” screen with a glass design to enhance the display further.

SmartLink+ system is also available allowing networking between the vehicle and a smartphone.

There’s also other features such as digital voice enhancement, lower noise levels due to an acoustic film between the two glass surfaces, optional massage function for the driver’s seat.

The 19-inch Acamar alloys have a new design and the Superb will also be available in a metallic Velvet Red paint later this year.
