On Friday 12th July during the Group C Le Mans car category, the Rothmans Porsche 962C went straight on at Molecombe corner.
Minor front end damage was done to the car. The front nose was pierced, and both headlamp trims came off. The driver was unhurt, and they hoped to be able to repair it for the rest of the weekend.
