Peugeot have unveiled the all-new 508 sporting a radical new design.
The new exterior look takes inspiration from a sports coupé. Main features of the new design are the 3D grille and sharp headlights at the front, frameless doors and edgy panel creases on the sides along with “claw effect” matrix brake lights finishing rear of the car.
Inside doesn’t disappoint with Peugeot’s i-Cockpit, 10” capacitive touchscreen and a 12.3-“ head-up digital instrument panel. The interior comes with luxury materials with full leather seats and wood effect trim.
i-Cockpit Amplify is another highlight which enables the driver to choose between “Boost” and “Relax”.
There’s also a vast amount of assistance systems including a new night vision system, which uses a infrared camera to detect hazards at night or during reduced visibility.
The new 508 is available with a range of six petrol and diesel engines with power ranging from 130hp to 225hp.
“The all-new Peugeot 508 is finally here. After the success of our latest high profile launches and our SUV offensive with the multi-award winning Peugeot 2008 SUV, 3008 SUV and all-new 5008 SUV, with the all-new Peugeot 508 we carry the exact same ambition; to shake up the market with an outstanding new car that can compete with the best. And, for the D segment, we are talking about the best car manufacturers in the world. The all-new Peugeot 508 is a perfect example of the ambition that we embody in everything that we do; continuing to establish Peugeot as the best ‘high-end generalist’ car manufacturer in the market,”
said Jean-Philippe Imparato, CEO of Peugeot.
The all-new Peugeot 508 will be available to order in summer 2018.
