The new generation of the Passat Alltrack was shown for the first time at Geneva International Motor Show today.
Based on the new Passat Estate, the new Passat Alltrack gains off-road look body cladding.
The Alltrack features VW’s 4MOTION permanent all-wheel drive. The German carmaker claims the Passat Alltrack handles rough terrain whilst being able to provide comfort during normal road use. This is down to the driving profile selector and DCC adaptive chassis control.
The Alltrack is a proven tower as it has a towing load of 2,200 kg (braked).
A wide range of driver assistance and infotainment systems can be fitted. They include head-up display, Active Info Display (fully digital instruments), Media Control rear seat entertainment system, lane-changing assistant, emergency Assist, traffic jam assist, rear traffic alert and Trailer Assist.
In addition a total of five radio and radio-navigation units are available to maximise connectivity.
The Alltrack also can come with App Connect which consists of applications like Mirror Link, Car Play and Android Auto.
