Nissan have unveiled the new Leaf – the world’s most popular electric car.
Nissan have kitted the new Leaf with electric innovation and ProPILOT technology.
To look at, the front features Nissan’s signature V shaped grille which has hints of blue. The grille sits between the LED headlights and the floating roof finishes the rest of the car.
The entire exterior design benefits aerodynamic efficiency with the long flowing bonnet, strong creases that lead to the rear of the car and even a rear diffuser.
Interior has been fully redesigned and is finished with higher quality materials.
The seats, dashboard and steering wheel are finished with a signature vibrant blue stitching. Other interior highlights include 7” display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Nissan Connect and improved sound insulation.
The Nissan Leaf will come with a new e-powertrain which improved energy efficiency and increases torque and power. The new Leaf will also come with new high-tech lithium-ion battery pack which has increased the driving range to 235 miles on a single charge.
New Nissan Leaf will come with three main new intelligent driving technologies: ProPILOT, ProPILOT Park and e-Pedal.
ProPILOT is an advanced driver assistance system which is used during single-lane driving on the motorway to help it be more relaxing for the driver.
ProPILOT Park will take all control of the car to park in a suitable spot.
e-Pedal allows drivers to start, accelerate, decelerate and stop simply by adjusting their input upon the accelerator pedal. The standard brake pedal can still be used but only in firm braking situations.
The new Nissan Leaf will go on sale in January 2018.
