In a process unique to the BMW group MINI’s Countryman and Paceman are going to get an exclusive matt black paint job.
The ‘Frozen Black’ has a shimmering matt surface and is comprised of base layer for grip and corrosion protection, a colour layer and then a clear lacquer which has added silicates to create the matt velvet effect.
The paint is car wash resistant but you have to be careful when hand washing as spot cleaning can lead to glossifying. Naturally BMW offers products developed especially for the Frozen Black paint finish!
