Mercedes have announced pricing and specification for the all-new A-Class.
Price starts from £25,800 for the A180d SE, A200 from £27,500 and the A250 available from £30,240.
Initially the new A-Class will be available in three trims: SE, Sport and AMG Line. They will also be a choice of three engines with all a 7 speed automatic transmission.
Entry-level SE comes with twin seven-inch displays as standard along with central touchscreen with MBUX multimedia system, DAB radio, Artico leather and Bertrix fabric upholstery, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Limit Assist, Keyless-Go ,air conditioning, 16” alloys and comfort suspension.
Sport trim line adds on 17” alloys, LED headlights, Artico and Fléron fabric upholstery and automatic climate control.
Range topping AMG Line adds 18” AMG alloy wheels, AMG body styling, Artico/Dinamica upholstery and three spoke sports steering wheel.
The A180d uses a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 116hp. It’s economical with a mpg figure of 68.9 mpg.
A200 is a 1.4-litre petrol engine producing 163hp. It can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph.
The new A-Class is still available with optional packs. The Executive package costs £1,395 and adds 10.25 central touchscreen, Active Parking Assist with Parktronic, heated front seats and Mirror package.
Premium adds a 10.25 inch cockpit display, ambient lighting, upgraded sound system, illuminated door sills, Keyless-Go and rear armrest.
The Premium Plus pack adds multibeam LED headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, panoramic sunroof and memory function for the driver and front passenger seats.
Lastly, the Advanced Navigation package comes with a camera located at the top of the windscreen, this is shown on the infotainment screen and the nagiviation overlays allowing for clearer navigation. The package also includes Traffic Sign Assist.
