The I-PACE has taken a lot of F-PACE’s design cues but sees a coupe-like roofline and a shorter, but aggressive front end. Though the radiator grilles are probably more for aesthetics rather than practical use.

The interior of the I-PACE looks less ambitious and will be finished with premium materials. They’ll be two touch screens that provide information without distracting the driver.

“The I-PACE Concept represents the next generation of electric vehicle design. It’s a dramatic, future-facing cab-forward design with a beautiful interior – the product of authentic Jaguar DNA, electric technology and contemporary craftsmanship,” said Ian Callum, Director of Design at Jaguar.

Both the electric motors and the 90kWh lithium-ion battery pack for the I-PACE were designed in-house by Jaguar Land Rover.

The battery will be capable for rapid charging with full charge will take just over 2 hours from a standard outlet. From a full charge, the I-PACE will have a range of 220 miles.
