Hyundai have today opened a new European Test Centre at the Nurburgring. Costing €6.6 million it is purpose built for durability testing, as well as evaluating their ranges driving dynamics.
The building occupies 3.622 square metres, and was built in less than 15 months. It houses workshops, offices, and hospitality suites over 4 floors.
Each model tested there will cover 480 laps of the ring in both the wet and dry, which simulates over 100,000 miles of driving in just six weeks.
Maybe this means we will see a Hyundai hot hatch sometime soon…
