Audi has announced a special edition of it’s RS4 estate at the Geneva Motorshow to celebrate 20 years since the launch of it’s iconic RS2.
The special edition RS4 Nogario selection features a special blue paint finish – and Audi promise some ‘exclusive’ equipment.
Outside the normally silver upright grill has been given a matt black makeover, the window frame and roof rails also turn to the dark side while at the rear, two black tailpipes peep out of the rear bumper.
Under the Avant’s standard flared wheel-arches sit huge – 20-inch- 10 spoke alloys covering bright red brake calipers.
Beneath the bonnet nothing has changed, with the RS4’s standard, high-revving, 450bhp V8 lump pushing 317lb ft of torque through Audi’s signature Quattro system.
The huge motor propels the estate car to 62 in 4.7seconds and onwards to an electronically restricted 174 MPH.
Power is sent through Audi’s seven-speed ‘S-Tronic’ auto box to a central differential that splits power 40:60 between front and rear wheels, and is capable of pushing up to 70% of the power to the back depending on the road.
But it is inside where the Nogaro selection see’s the largest changes. Electric blue seats sit next to vibrant blue door inserts – although buyers can elect for a more laid-back black interior.
The interior is splattered with a liberal amount of ‘RS’ badges, to make sure you know where you are, and more blue stitching and accents can be seen in the steering wheel and floor matts.
Audi is yet to announce, price, a release date, or how many of the limited models will come to the UK, but expect to see it on the road later this year.
