The 2018 Range Rover Sport is being offered as a plug-in hybrid for the first time ever.
This follows on after it was announced that all Land Rover and Jaguar cars will be electrified by 2020.
Range Rover Sport plug-in hybrid will be called the P400e and is a combination of a 300hp 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with an 85kW electric motor providing a total of 404 hp.
0-60 mph takes 6.3 seconds and can hit a top speed of 137 mph.
The Range Rover Sport P400e emits just 64g/km and has an electric range of 31 miles.
The P400 offers two driving modes: Parallel Hybrid mode and EV (Electric Vehicle) mode.
Those electric motors are powered by a 13.1kWh lithium-ion battery. Rapid charging can charge the battery in 2 hours 45 minutes using a dedicated or 32amp wall box. The standard cable charges the battery in 7 hours 30 minutes.
To look at, the new Range Rover Sport gets a redesigned grille, matrix pixel LED headlights and a new bumper.
Two HD 10-inch touchscreens are the main feature in the minimalist interior.
First deliveries of the new Range Rover Sport will be in early 2018.
