Mazda has previewed two concepts for the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show.
First is the Kai Concept which is a compact hatchback that features the next-generation SKYACTIV-X petrol engine.
The concept also comes with SKYACTIV-Vehicle Architecture and gives a preview into what style, technology and engineering future Mazdas will have.
It will have a quieter and more comfortable ride and enhanced performance.
The design of Kai Concept blends masculine and delicate flowing lines with its fastback shape.
Vision Coupe was the other concept revealed in Tokyo. The exterior design features minimalist ‘KODO’ aesthetics. The interior takes inspiration from traditional Japanese architecture that provides a ‘relaxed space’.
Vision Coupe pays homage to Mazda’s first passenger car, the Mazda R360 and also the Mazda R130.
Both concepts fall in line with Mazda’s long-term plan called Sustainable Zoom-Zoom 2030.
