After revealing the concept model back in 2016, Jaguar have now released details of production version which is available to order.
The I-Pace comes with a 90kWh Lithium-ion battery capable of up to 298 miles on a single charge.
Drivers will be able to charge empty battery to 80% in 85-minutes using 50kW DC charging. The Jaguar I-Pace is also fully compatible with DC Rapid Chargers to charge the battery 0-80% in just 40 minutes.
Two electric motors are placed at each axle and help produce 400PS and all-wheel-drive. The instant performance help the I-Pace do 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.
The I-Pace takes inspiration from the Jaguar C-X75 supercar with its short, low bonnet, aero-enhanced roof design and curved rear screen.
Active Vanes in the grille open when cooling is needed. When closed, the air is redirected through the integral bonnet scoop.
Inside, space has been optimised and high quality materials have been used. The boot offers 656-litre capacity and 1,453-litres with the rear seats folded flat.
I-Pace sees the introduction of Jaguar’s Touch Pro Duo infotainment system. A new EV navigation system assesses previous journeys and calculates best route to maximise driver confidence.
I-Pace will also come with Amazon Alexa which allows questions like: Is my car locked? What is the charging level? to be answered.
The I-Pace S, SE, HSE and First Edition are now available to order, priced from £58,995-£76,900.
