The iBlue immobilizer is a product that allows you to disable your vehicle if you don’t have the relevant Bluetooth device or tag on you.
The product retails at $139 excl VAT and the company is based in Switzerland.
But they have some pretty bad reviews though…
One on Amazon says they are scammers and wouldn’t return the buyers money, while the reviews on Trustpilot show that the UK arm of iBlue was set up by a conman. Even though the Swiss company knew what happened, they wouldn’t offer any goodwill to the UK buyers who were left out of pocket.
We also reached out to iBlue to work with them on a product review to help reframe this negative press and to actually get a review of their system out there in the wild, as there currently aren’t any.
Their reply was:
Have I ever indicated to you that we want this? Why are you bothering me? Where do we get our email address from? Did you steal it? Have we given you permission to write? Where can I unsubscribe (because there is GDPR, right?) You are not a serious business, you are bothering companies with a stolen database.

So if you want to deal with a company that seems dubious, and responds with that level of attitude to a simple email, please go ahead.
If not you might want to look at legitimate solutions like those provided by Pandora, their miniBT does exactly the same thing. Or look at a vehicle tracker from SpyTrack.
