Ferrari is set to reveal the 812 Superfast at the Geneva Motor Show.
The 812 Superfast marks 70 years since Ferrari produced their first V12 car and also follows in the other oddly named V12s such as the F12berlinetta and F12tdf.
It will be powered with a 6.5 litre V12 engine that produces nearly 800 bhp making it the fastest front-engined production car so far.
All of the engine’s power is produced at 8,500 rpm, maximum torque is 718 Nm and can hit a top speed of 211mph. 0-62mph is done and dusted in 2.9 seconds.
The 812 Superfast is the first Ferrari to come with electric power steering and comes with Ferrari’s latest Side Slip Control.
Designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre, the 812 Superfast gets a two-box design with a high tail just like the 365 GTB4. There’s muscular wheel arches, full LED headlights which are sculpted with the air intakes.
Back of the car gets four round taillights to help with the broad stance.
The car has some fancy aerodynamic bits including active flaps at the front of the underbody and the back has a by-pass to increase downforce.
The interior sees the dash looping around the central air vents helping towards a smarter look. There’s better ergonomic seats, new steering wheel, instrument clusters and the latest infotainment system.
