Data released by the DVLA has been sifted through by IAM to find the worrying statistics that 30,850 Male drivers under 20 have up to 6 points on their license!
Women fare better with only 9,758 under 20’s having up to 6 points.
In 2012 1/5 of all collisions where someone was killed or seriously injured involved young drivers, whilst they only drive half the distance of older drivers and account for 8% of full license holders…worrying.
