On average, most used car buyers are travelling 48 miles to buy a used car in 2020, that’s up 15 miles on the 2019 figure.
It varies by make, with Alfa Romeo’s being the furtheest afield while Ford’s are much closer to home. This makes enthusiast brand owners willing to travel up to 500% more than a general marque.
Men are also more likely to travel further than women to seek out their perfect used vehicle. 48 minutes as opposed to 43 for women, the same goes for mileage.
