AI Mechanic chatbot launched – mechanicBot

Today we’ve launched our all-new AI chatbot tool to help you with all things automotive related – mechanicBot.

Now with AI you need to take things with a pinch of salt. While it scrapes all the info from a huge…like really huge amount of infomation, it only really generates the next word that it thinks is right for the sentence.

But you know what, that’s enough to give you a damn good steer for a lot of automotive related questions. And we should know, we’ve tested it pretty thoroughly.

It’s a great tool to use to either get a little bit more info on what could be causing a specific issue, like a grinding noise when you brake, or to find out where your screenwash filler is on a 2002 Ford Focus. It can also point you in the right direction or give you ideas for how to trace and diagnose faults.

It will even help you with OBD codes!

As AI chatbots are generative, ensure you conduct further research on potential problems and fixes before you carry them out. Our AI chatbot should be used as guidance only, NOT a foolproof or the legitimate way to fix issues and faults.
If you are out of your depth or are unsure ALWAYS consult a trained, professional mechanic. Or book your car in at your nearest garage.
Carwitter and ChatGPT bear no responsbility for damage, injury or death caused by following instructions from mechanicBot.
