The 2017 Skoda Octavia was announced a few weeks back and today Skoda have revealed the new Octavia vRS.
The refreshed Octavia vRS will be available again as a hatchback and estate.
Both will come with the same revised front but will come with a wider radiator grille and wider air intakes which have a honeycomb design.
At the rear sees little difference from the previous model but gets revised rear lights and a more prominent black diffuser.
18” alloys are available as standard with 19” alloys are available as an option.
The interior gets vRS Sport seats which are available in Alcantara as an option. Ambient lighting is now standard and there’s even an umbrella under the passenger seat and a removable LED lamp in the boot of the estate.
The Octavia vRS gets a new 2.0 TSI engine which produces 230 hp with a top speed of 155 mph and 0 to 62 time of 6.7 seconds. The 2.0 TSI engine will come with 6 speed manual gearbox as standard but can be optioned with a 6 speed DSG gearbox.
They’ll also be a 2.0 TDI engine which produces 184 hp. Combined fuel consumption is 62.8 mpg
With the 2.0 TDI engine, it’s available either with as FWD or 4WD.
