Land Rover have announced a new efficient engine for the 2017 Range Rover Sport along with improved spec.
The Range Rover Sport will introduce a new 2.0 litre 4-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine. An all-aluminium construction and advanced technology help to provide fuel consumption of 45.6mpg and CO2 emissions of 164 g/km, the cleanest and most efficient Range Rover Sport yet.
There’s no skimping on performance as a 0-60 time of 8 seconds has been estimated by Land Rover.
Land Rover will also offer the UK a 3.0 litre V6 supercharged petrol engine which produces 340HP and 450Nm of torque with a 0-60 time of 7.1s.
The 2017 Range Rover Sport will also see an amount of semi-autonomous driving tech such as Blind Spot Assist, Advanced Tow Assist and Intelligent Speed Limiter.
More features have been added to improve the Range Rover Sport’s all-terrain capabilities with Low Traction Launch to help drivers pull away on low-grip surfaces.
Inside sees a larger 10″ touchscreen that supports more user capabilities.
The new Range Rover will go on sale at the end of this year starting from £59,700.
