Nissan have announced an all new C segment vehicle, a family hatchback called the Pulsar.
Taking styling cues from various models across the current range, it is bold and distinctive. It fills a very large void in Nissans current model lineup.
The Pulsar will feature Nissans safety shield technology which includes Forward Emergency Braking, Moving Object Detection, Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning.
LED headlamps will also feature, along with NissanConnect smartphone integration including the Google Send to Car map system.
Engine wise the Pulsar will be powered by the 1.2 litre DIG-T petrol found in the latest generation Qashqai, a 1.5 litre dCI diesel producing 110 PS and 260 Nm of torque and a more powerful 190 PS 1.6 litre turbocharged petrol in 2015.
In total the Pulsar is 4,385 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, this offers considerably more shoulder and rear legroom than its class rivals. Rear knee room is quoted at 692 mm.
The model will go on sale from Autumn this year.
