Seat have revealed the Cupra version of it’s Leon family hatch will go on sale priced from £25,690 or £285 per month.
The Cupra is the most powerful car Seat has ever produced and it’s 2.0litre petrol can be tuned to pump out either 261 or 276bhp.
Available as either a three or five door the more expensive 280DSG will hit 62 in just 5.9 seconds, heading on to an electronically limited 155mph.
Outside the Cupra gets special 18-inch, five-spoke alloys, and a black honeycomb grill.
At the back dual, oval silver exhausts are added with a rear spoiler and Cupra badging.
The new Cupra is 55kg lighter than the outgoing model, meaning it manages 44.1mpg despite the power output and pumps out just 149g/km of CO2.
Standard equipment includes the 18-inch alloy wheels, full-LED headlights, rain-sensing wipers, DAB radio, and Cupra-specific styling details including a perforated leather steering wheel, sports seats trimmed in Alcantara, and Cupra-branded sills.
Inside it’s standard Leon fare, with added silver highlights to alcantara seats and an aluminium foot rest with the pedals.
The Cupra will go on sale with a raft of 0% finance offers on March 4 this year, meaning you can get your hands on the 3-door SC from £285 a month and a £1,000 deposit
