Lamborghini have released the name and model number of its Gallardo replacement. Its successor will be called the Huracan or LP 610-4.
It will be powered by a new V10 engine producing an amazing 610 HP, 0-62 will take 3.2 seconds, with top speed being 202 MPH.
Weighing just 1,422 KG it will share the second gen Audi R8 platform, which is due next year.
A 7 speed dual clutch gearbox sends that power to all 4 wheels. Strada, Sport, and Corsa modes will be selectable. These will change throttle response, traction control and gear changes.
Deliveries are to start in Spring, expect it to cost around £170,000. A Spyder version is thought to follow in 2015.
