To keep Jag in the game and compete with BMW’s xDrive all wheel drive cars the XE is to get the same set up.
As of now you can order the 2.0 litre 180PS diesel XE with all wheel drive. This doesn’t effect the cars rear wheel drive dynamics though as torque is only transferred to the front wheels when needed.
Jaguar have also fitted the XE with AdSR – Adaptive Surface Response – which changes the mapping of the powertrain according to the conditions.
Other upgrades for the 2017 MY (model year) include Apple Watch support so you can remotely check your cars fuel level, lock and unlock as well as remotely starting the engine.
You can also now spec a 17 speaker Meridian 825w surround sound system, and a new 10.2 inch tablet style touch screen interface dubbed InControl Touch Pro.
