RFID blocking faraday pouches all look terrible, there’s no argument here. Last year we had to use one when we took the Steeda Mustang for a week loan, it looked like we were carrying around a pair of secateurs. Made from nylon and velcro no matter what brand you choose they’re about as stylish as a Suzuki Celerio.
That’s about to change, a company called Vanacci is in the process of Kickstartering a new, stylish, modern faraday bag.
Using the same leather that Aston Martin and Tesla furnish their interiors with, Vanacci is handmade in the UK. KeyBlock can fit various sized keys and they even offer free personalisation.
Naturally it fully blocks RFID signals to stop relay attacks. This is where a powerful signal booster is used form outside your property to unlock, start and steal your keyless car.
We’ll have a review unit as soon as they start production en masse. Watch this space.
