Peugeot have announced a refresh to the 308 and 308SW due to hit roads in September.
The new 308 is boosted with tech such as a new infotainment system with Mirror Screen, Mirrorlink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.
There’s also dual zone climate control and 3D Connected Navigation with TomTom Live updates.
The 308 is class leading with driving aids and now comes with Speed Limit Recognition, Adaptive Cruise Control with stop functionality and Active Blind Spot Monitoring System.
New 308 comes with a new range of engines which are compliant with the Euro 6 regulations.
The three-cylinder PureTech petrol engine has been updated and comes with a new six-speed manual gearbox. The1.2L PureTech 130 Stop&Start engine is highly effect with exhaust gases flowing through the catalytic converter followed by a passive-regeneration particle filter.
The new 308 is the first PSA Group to come with the 1.5L BlueHDi 130 S&S diesel engine which comes with a Selective Catalytic Reduction pollution control system, a system tested at Le Mans.
An eight-speed automatic gearbox along with the 2.0L BlueHDi 180 Stop&Start rounds up the new engine range.
The 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport is powered by a 270 PS THP Stop&Start engine.
The exterior has been tweaked with reshaped bumpers and headlights to look similar to the 3008.
Inside the 308 comes with the Peugeot i-Cockpit with the compact steering wheel. There’s new seat fabrics for Active and Allure trims and panoramic fixed cielo glass roof on Allure, GT Line and GT trim levels.
The new 308 and 308 SW is able be ordered this summer.
