Hyundai have announced a limited edition Santa Fe called the Endurance Edition where just 500 will be made.
The Endurance Edition is a celebration a Patrick Bergel who completed a 30 day expedition in an almost standard diesel Santa Fe, driving across Antarctica from Union Camp to McMurdo and back again.
It was the first time a passenger vehicle has been driven in the Antarctic continent.
The Endurance Edition is based on the 2.2 diesel 7 seat 4WD Automatic in Premium SE trim with Convenience Pack. Standard spec includes smart cruise control, smart electric tailgate, panoramic sunroof, autonomous emergency braking, and around view monitor.
They’ll also be 19” alloys, side bar sport running steps and a special Endurance logo on the B-pillar and interior floor mats.
They’ll be a choice of limited paint colours: solid Creamy White, pearl White Crystal, metallic Titanium Silver, pearl Phantom Black and the same colour as Patrick Bergel’s expedition car – metallic Mineral Blue.
The Santa Fe Endurance Edition will cost £38,995 which is £2,400 cheaper over a standard Premium SE Auto with Convenience Pack. It’ll be available to order on 18th May.
