Citroen Reveal C-Aircross Concept

8 Feb , 2017

Citroen have revealed a C-Aircross Concept car ahead of its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show.

It’s Citroen’s first go at a compact SUV. Much of the styling is based on the New C3.

It has a short and raised bonnet, has LED lighting and also front and rear protection shields with a glossy black finish. It’s wheel arch extensions come with a ‘camouflage design. The large wheels feature a unique design and help hint towards the car’s off-road capabilities.

Rear hinged doors open in opposite ways which helps for better accessibility. This design takes inspiration from the previous Aircross and CXperience concepts.

Inside, there’s an elevated one-piece dashboard which features a large storage compartment that stretches across the width of the car. The dashboard is completely covered in fabric. There’s also a tinted head-up display and the middle of the dashboard, a 12” touchscreen.

Citroen have paid homage to their heritage with the single spoke steering wheel.

Fluorescent Coral is scattered everywhere including the floor, air vents and the seatbelt buckles.

Both the front and rear seats are finished in Alcantara with a quilt-effect. Adding to the ‘relaxing’ environment is the large panoramic glazed roof that allows daylight to flood in.

Two cameras take the place of traditional door mirrors and a camera is integrated into the roof spoiler.

The C-Aircross Concept is equipped with what Citroen is calling the Human-Machine Interface. All of the main functions can be accessed via the 12” central touchscreen.

It also comes with Citroen Connect Nav and will also have Mirror Screen functionality.

The front and rear headrests have built-in speakers and microphones and Citroen say users will be able to create ‘sound experience’ audio bubbles.
