Pricing and specs have been announced for new Kia Rio.
The new Rio will only be sold as a five-door. There’s 10 different versions that will come in three trim levels which are the Kia-usual 1, 2 and 3.
Prices start from £11,995 for the Rio 1 1.25 5-speed manual ISG.
1 will come with air conditioning, front electric windows, remote locking, electrically adjustable heated door mirrors, a 3.8” screen, Bluetooth, automatic light control, bi-function projection headlamps with cornering and LED daytime running lights as standard along with body-coloured bumpers, door mirror casings and door handles.
The 1 will also come with steering wheel-mounted audio controls, 60:40 split rear seats, 4 speaker audio system while safety provisions include Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management and Hill-start Assist Control.
Trim level 2 will priced from £13,745. Standard spec includes 15” alloys, all round electric windows, electric folding mirrors with LED indicator lights, a digital DAB radio, 5” screen, 6 speaker audio system, reversing camera, rear parking sensors, 3.5-inch premium supervision cluster, USB charging ports, cruise control with Autonomous Emergency Braking and Lane Departure Warning systems.
There’s also chrome trim around the black radiator grille, centre storage box and leather steering wheel and gearstick.
3 will come with 16” alloys, automatic air con, black faux leather upholstery, 7” screen, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, rain-sensing front wipers, privacy glass, sat-nav, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth with voice recognition all as standard. Prices will start from £16,295.
The new Kia Rio will also come with a First Edition version which will be on a limited run. Priced at £17,445 it’ll come with 17” alloys, smart key entry system, engine start/stop button, stainless steel pedals, black and red faux leather upholstery and LED rear lights.
