Volkswagen have added the tech-packed Match Edition trim level to the Polo.
The Polo Match Edition will come with Car-Net App-Connect which fully integrates a smartphone via USB connection using either Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto or MirrorLink and displays on the infotainment touchscreen.
Apps such as Spotify and Skype can be operated from the touchscreen and with Google Android Auto, Google Voice control is available.
Volkswagen have created apps for MirrorLink that include Call & Remind and Cam Connect, where a GoPro Hero4 camera can be placed somewhere in the car and the image is shown on the infotainment screen.
It will also come with electrically heated door mirrors, body-coloured door mirrors which electronically fold, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, rain censored windscreen wipers and coming/leaving home lights.
Polo Match Edition also comes with front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, 15-inch ‘Stratford’ alloy wheels and air con.
Engine choices for the Polo Match Edition will be a 1.0-litre 60 PS petrol engine that is also available as 75 PS. They will also be a 90PS 1.2-litre TSI engine. All petrol engines will be available with manual or DSG automatic gearboxes.
They’ll be just the one diesel engine which will be a 1.4-litre TDI 75 PS engine and only available with a manual gearbox.
The Polo Match Edition will start from £13,315.00 and is ready to order from 21st December.
