So with the season’s in full swing and the summer finally here many series are taking a break this month, but there is still plenty of on track / screen action to keep you all entertained.
The week ending the 6th and 7th see’s the British GT action return to the UK and Snetterton, Motors TV and Channel 4 bring the action to those not venturing trackside.
Across the water Premier Sports as always brings the NASCAR action, this time from the Watkins Glen road course rather than the Ovals many will be familiar with, staying on the continent, Motors TV and Radio Le Mans will be bringing the Weathertech Sportscar action from Road America on the same weekend.
Tin Top action heads to South America with Eurosport bringing the Argentinian round of the WTCC your screens.
British bike fans will no doubt be flocking to Brands Hatch for the next BSB encounter, Eurosport keeps you covered if not able to get there.
Those who prefer dirt dust and mud to track based actio are also well catered for this weekend as the ERC (Eurosport) heads to Poland while the WRX (Quest) lands in Trois Rivages – Canada for it’s next round.
The following weekend is fairly sparse by comaprison, ITV4 brings the Scotish round of the BTCC from Knockhill to front rooms everywhere while Austria’s Red Bull Ring hosts the MotoGP via BT Sport and ITV4.
The 20th-21st makes up though with the WRC heading to Germany via BT Sport and Channel 5, the British Rally Championship heading to Ireland for the Ulster Rally (Ch4), the MotoGP hoping borders from Austria to Brno, Czech Republic (BT/ITV4).
The DTM heading into Moscow (again BT and some live streaming), while NASCAR heads to Tennesse, for the Bristol night race and another on my very long bucket list, Premier Sports brings the oval action.
The end of the month see’s prototype action back on both sides of the Atlantic with ELMS action from Paul Ricard, while Virginia is the destination for the Weathertech series in the US, coverage of both via Motors and Radio Le Mans.
The V8 Supercars return to action at Eastern Creek via BT and Motors and the Blancpain sprint series also returns to action and to Hungary, again via BT and Motors. The ERC heads to the Czech Republic (Eurosport) and NASCAR heads to the Michichigan International Speedway (Premier Sports).
Closer to home, bikers will be off to Cadwell Park for the next BSB installment (Eurosport ITV4) while the tin top fans will head to Rockingham for the BTCC, again ITV4 brings the pics for those not trackside.
