Audi have thrown back the covers on their new 197 MPH drop top.
0-62 will take just 3.6 seconds, just 0.1 second slower than the hard top. It has a 5.2 litre V10 packing 532 BHP and 540 Nm of torque, this gives the R8 Spyder 330 BHP per tonne.
Audi reckons rigidity has been upped by 50% whilst weight is reduced by 113 KG over the first gen Spyder.
Price wise you will be looking at around £120k, whilst the more powerful ‘+’ version with the 600 BHP engine is likely to make a show later this year.
