A new 1 litre and 1.5 litre will be fitted in the 10th generation 2017 Civic.
Most likely the same tech will follow on from the Type-R’s VTEC. That being that the VTEC high lift cam actually does the lower revs, whilst the turbo and a low lift cam look after the top end of the range.
Honda have said that 5 door models of the new Civic will be made at Swindon, which could hint at a 3 door model being in the offing, we shall wait and see.
