Lamborghini has launched their latest Blancpain challenger with the arrival of the new Huracan GT3.
The bright green machine follows the launch of the Huracan Tropheo one-make car and is on sale to teams priced from €369,000 – for which Lambo plan to sell around 26 cars.
Under the skin it uses the same platform as the yet-to-be-announced second generation R18 GT3 and is powered by a 5.2litre V10 found in the road version.
Also announced is the news that Grasser Racing, who came so close to the 2014 title, will be the official factory partner in the Endurance series for 2015.
It will run a pair of Huracan GT3s for a line-up led by Lamborghini Squada Corse test drivers Adrian Zaugg, a race winner in A1GP, and GT stalwart Fabio Babini, as well as 2011 Formula 2 champion and sometime Formula 1 test driver Mirko Bortolotti.
They will be joined by three members of Lamborghini’s young driver programme: Giovanni Venturini, Jeroen Mul and Andrew Palmer.
They’ve even accompanied the launch with a nice teaser video, which we’ve helpfully put above all this chatter.
