On sale early next year the V60 Cross Country will be available in both front and four-wheel-drive and should arrive on driveways in June.
Outside it is very much what you might expect, a taller V60 with more aggressive sills and bumpers, although Volvo have ditched the old black rubber for a more polished silver finish.
The Cross Country has been raised by 65mm over the estate version and those bigger arches should be filled with a choice of either 18 or 19inch alloys on high profile tyres, although Volvo admit that spec for the UK is yet to be finalised.
Under the bonnet you will find the latest version of Volvo’s Drive-E engine range in the form of a 2.0litre inline four D4 diesel pumping out 181bhp available on the two and all-wheel versions. A less powerful D3 can be fitted to the front driven version only.
Expect more details when the LA show kicks off.
