Nissan have announced its new challenger for the dominant Ford Focus, the Pulsar, will go on sale this autumn priced from £15,995.

The Pulsar represents the Japanese firm’s first return to the lucrative family hatch segment since the unlamented Almera departed our shores.

They will be hoping the success of the new Qashqai will rub off on the Pulsar, which shares it’s bigger sister’s nose.
