Lexus have announced that their upgraded CT200h hybrid will go on sale in March priced at just £20,9995 – £1,000 less than it’s predecessor.
The new CT200h was revealed at the Guangzhou Motor Show in November, but now Lexus has revealed price details.
For your money the 200h will come with a new version of Lexus’s ‘Hybrid Drive’ system. This gives impressive fuel economy of 68.9mpg, or 78.5 should you plump for the standard S model.
The 200h pumps out a tiny 82g/km of C02, meaning it will be exempt from road tax, but not the London congestion charge.
Outside little has changed, the hatchback gains Lexus’s new corporate face while the rear gains similar bumpers to the recently revealed RC-F.
Inside Lexus retain the six trim levels available on the predecessor, S, SE, Advance, Luxury, F Sport and Premier.
Upgrading from the S to the £23,995 Advance will see the CT 200h gain parking sensors, heated front seats and the new, fully integrated Lexus Navigation system as standard.
Another £6,000 for the Premier model will add a “GPS-controlled clock”, higher spec navigation system, aluminium scuff plates and LED front fog lamps.
Lexus claim they lightened the chassis and improved better stability and handling.
Available to order now prices range from £20,995 for the standard S, up to £29,495 for the top-of-the-range Premier, and the first cars will be delivered in March.
