Nissan have unmasked the 2014 Nissan Juke.
As we thought the main changes are newly styled front and rear bumpers.
The front gets a lot neater, Xenon bulbs increase visibility whilst the upper lights have LED daytime running lights built in.
Tougher trim has been added beneath the front bumper, whilst the grille now holds a larger thicker floating V.
At the rear the bumper is now more aggressive looking with matching colour touches to the lower sections.
The rear lamps have also been revised with LED ‘light guide technology’.
One addition we didnt spy are the new wing mirrors, they now feature LED turn signals built into them, they are also thinner and neater than the blobby outgoing ones.
Inside boot space has been upped by a massive 40% to 354 litres on the two wheel drive variants.
Personalisation is also big on the agenda, the glossy centre console and central tunnel can now be coloured in White, Red, Black or bright Yellow.
Nissan’s new 1.2 DIG-T turbo engine has also been thrown into the mix, as with the Qashqai it replaces the 1.6 naturally aspirated unit. It generates 113 BHP and 190 Nm of torque.
The current 1.6 DIG-T has been improved to deliver better lower end torque, it now also has a higher combustion ratio as well as cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation.
A new colour palette now extends to ten colours and includes three new shades: Sunlight Yellow metallic (pictured), Ink Blue metallic and solid Red.
Standard equipment on all models now includes:
- LED daytime running lamps
- CD radio with an AUX-In socket
- Gear-shift indicator
- Tyre pressure monitor
The Visia 1.5 dCi and 1.6 Pack versions add:
- Alloy wheels
- Manual air conditioning
- Drive computer
- Driver seat height adjustment
This facelift Juke will go on sale around July this year.
